We had a great time with our families, my DH's parents, his brother & girl friend, our daughter & grand daughter were here for dinner. My DH and I got up at 5A.M. to start roll & fry 120 egg rolls, it was 1 P.M. when we got done cleaning up the mess. Everyone enjoyed. Packed up bunch of egg rolls for the dogie bags. Merry Christmas. Mom died two years ago but I still put up a tree in her house. Others say I am stupid wasting money, but when I go there, by myself, smelling the balsam and seeing an icon I have viewed my entire life while listening to the old LP Christmas albums brings a brief bit of sadness but it is quickly replaced by a warm calm. When I was still in single digits for age I slept in the piano room one night, I remember waking one morning and the first thing I saw was the decorated Christmas tree. This year I slept on the sofa by the tree and again the first thing I saw in the moring was the decorated Christmas Tree. You may not see them with your eyes, but all the loving memories and loved ones are still there loving you. God speed and Merry Christmas.

oh my gosh,AVEDON, What a beautiful christmas tree. I didnt put my tree up this year for the very first time.I wanted to put it up but, the body is not co operateing with me very good most time, since that dr gave me too high of a dose of colesterol medicine.I had some bad side effects from it that is permenent damage,i think, since its been about 2 yrsI guess since I took it,and I still have most of the side effects, not as bad as it was oringinally, but, bad enough to stop me from digging in the gardens and going up and down steps.. course, I can dig with a hand trowel, to plant some thing.I usually find a way to do what I want to do, may take me twice as long to do some thing, but I get it done, I love that pink seedling, its gorgeous.I love them clump shots too. and hyperion is a beauty, isn't it, I have one in a 3 gal pot, may have to move it up to a 5 gal. mine looked just like yours back in the spring.he pink seedling named after your mom is gorgeous, too. Thank you for posting these gorgeous photos.I want spring to get here so badly, but, have to get this depressing winter out of the way first.It has been cold here for about 2 weeks, was some better today.Got dome more pretties to post? Yes, Spring and Easter holidays are coming fast. Our DG and boyfriend are coming the week before Easter and the rest have off the week after. I guess we will have a full two weeks of company..... And I intend to have our caretakers here too. It's too hard to see to everyone's needs and DH's too.
