Can someone name this flower? Although you can't see it in the photo, there are blooms as well above each leaf.

It can take a couple of years for echinacea to bloom. I winter sowed Magnus last year and it grew only leaves, this year it's flowering, but not too full yet. Next year should be the year where it'll finally look its best! Karen

Definitely not ruellia (Mexican petunia) - leaves, stems & flowers are all wrong; I have a lot of it, so I'm familiar w/ what it looks like. Mexican petunia (ruellia brittoniana) Still suggesting posting on the Name That Plant forum, tho - I'm not 100% sure it's mimulus....
