We finally got a little rain this morning around five a.m., along with fierce lightening and thunder. It poured for about fifteen minutes, long enough that I knew I wouldn't have to water my two tomato plants, today. If we're lucky, another storm may roll thru this evening and give some more rain. The unfortunate part is that many areas closer to D.C. got blasted, too. That's happened three or four times times in the last ten days. Some folks were without power for a week. That got old in a hurry!

I also like the second one. He may be talking about science, but I think the central theme is "discovery". There are times were I say something like, that's funny, weird, strange, unusual etc.. and it can be something as small as a small volunteer plant in my garden.

I certainly like to hear about small business success, especially during these hard times. Talking about trees. There is a fellow in GA that is cutting down trees in GA to make chop sticks for China and other countries. It seems that China does not have any "natural resources" to make enough chop sticks. My translation, China has used up all their trees so they need a new supply of wood for chop sticks. So keep an eye on your sweet gum and poplars, GA people.
