The Phoenix Mars Lander has been sending back pictures. I thought this one was interesting, in an academic way.
Martian Sunset.
But then I realized something was missing from the pictures. Colors such as we see everyday in a sunset on earth. What the mars sunset lacks is a lithium rush.
It's interesting to finally see an extraterrestrial sunset but methinks I will stick with the kind we have here on earth, such as the on I saw driving home from work last evening. How can colors be subtle and intense at the same time? Caught a glimpse of the two day old moon mixed into the collage.
Emerging moon.
The three day old moon should be as good a sight this evening as it was last evening.
Been stepping outside around two-ish for the last few nights getting reacquainted with old friends. Big bear is showing fine at the 8 o'clock position. Saturn is a jewel in the southern sky.
