Hi again! I was hoping someone else would chime in. It's very hard to say when you can expect your first bloom, as it is so dependent on your individual conditions (light, temp, water) What I can tell you is that once it starts blooming, it should bloom for a couple of months. Remember, Jason Fisher is a sequential bloomer, which means that it will hold one, sometimes two perfect blooms for a few days and then drop them...which means that even then you might have a bloom free day... good luck!

I am a Habanero Hydro n00b myself but will do my best, but might need more info first. I see you provided more info in the lighting posting. You have T5 bulbs in a 4x2ft fixture, and another single T5 bulb, right? Do they have reflectors? How far from plants to lights? The only way to really know how much light your plants are getting would be to use a PAR meter. Where do you live? Can you borrow one possibly from a hydro shop or fish store? Also, do you use an EC or PPM meter? It's hard for people to know exactly what your new nute mix is like, especially since Tiger Bloom is not a hydroponic nutrient. And are you testing the pH of your res? If you are just adding limestone without testing the pH, you could possibly be making a bad problem worse instead of better. Sorry I cant really advise you on why the blossoms are dropping without knowing more, and maybe not even then... especially since I am currently in the middle of my first DWC experiment. I didn't even use seed, I bought seedlings and transplanted. My plants dropped their nicest big flower yesterday which was dissapointing, so I may not be the best person to advise you. From everything I have read, blossom drop is relatively common unless everything is just right. Could be overwatering (maybe lower res a tad? that helped my plants during transplant shock), could be nutes, could be light.

I only have the problem with the Hilo Beauty. The common yellow that is planted next to it (literally, 5 feet away) has no issues, but then again I could hack a common yellow to pieces and it would still find a way to bloom! Both are in the ground. The Nebels Rainbow that's planted next to the common yellow is completely confused and is the only one of my plumerias that is already sporting tons of new leaves. But, I've found each of my plants has its own needs, I just need to figure out how to convince my HB to hold onto ALL of its blooms! I mostly do foliar feeding during the growing season with the Spray-N-Grow regimen, I was adding seaweed extract last year but found that it stained my lighter colored blooms. I also use Messenger and Pro-tekt. So while I THINK my plumerias should be happy, HB throws a fit every year. With 50 branches that all have the potential to bloom, I would LOVE to see it covered in red this year.
