MY MAY Update

Well here I am.....May 1, woke up with the ground completly

white. May 1st. ! Didn't last long. My RN daughter was here and when I began having severe pains we went to the ER.

I've had a hernia for a few years and it was not behaving. Monday morn the 2nd. had hernia surgry, all went well, home on the 5th. Mother's Day two other dauhters here and we were out for dinner. How's that for an 80 year old on oxygen? I'm doing great, just can't be lifting. The last few days have been Spring here,even with the sun even shining.

Glad to hear you are doing well, wondering why you were so quiet, now I know. We should get together, you on oxygent and I with a walking stick.
May will bring sunshine and nice weather - at least hope so

Hi, everyone! I just got a box delivered by my wonderful UPS man (of course I had no idea he was coming and I looked horrible - go figure!) from Tammy! Thank you so much, Tammy! She also sent a thank you for the box that I sent, so I am happy to see she got it! Tammy sent me: Potentilla 'Goldfinger' a Geranium a plant that I'm not sure what it is, but it's got a bud! All your trees look great. I hope you will be able to harvest some mangoes this season. Good to see other people raising chickens too. I used to have some Barred Rocks for eggs but I just purchased my first home and its pretty small so I may consider raising some quail instead. Let us know how the mangoes taste if you get them to full maturity.

Sorry I haven't uploaded photos; going to try to do it in the next few days. Have had so many doctor appointments between myself & my daughter; weekends have been spent cleaning the house because I'm hardly home during the week. From Trailrunner We are in awful place for tonight. Allen's sick. Motel near Union Conn. oh well . I'm stopping in Bar Harbor & going home miss my sweetie TOO much!!! Sorry for no updates & that I will be home June 24 28 or so

Elmer, that's what my son said (about the contractor's generator). Alisande, will you take the previous roofer to small claims court? I took a roofer to small claims court about 15 years ago. He was beyond awful, a thief, and even though I knew I'd get no money (he was in jail at the time), and it would cost me $100 or so to file, I was determined to do it, and happy to at least ruin his credit for 5 years. This time is different, and I don't know the answer to that. Yet. Maire_Cate, the furnace people say they can bring it inside through the front door. Whew! I could actually get out the back door in an emergency, but there's not enough room to bring something large in. Thanks for the support, everyone! The KT is such a good cheering section.
