Guys,
I have one of those carbs with the electrical connector on the bottom of it.
When I was trying to start the Craftman riding mower today, it would not turn over. I removed the plug, hit the starter and a mouthful of raw gas spit out the hole!
This hydro-lock situation is really bad for many reasons. It is washing oil off and I could have bent something trying to run it.
My question is, what's the purpose of the electric connection on the float bowl of the carb and do I need to look for anything? How do you test it if it is a cut off fuel control?
Thanks in advance,
QuickRick
