QOD: If I was at my goal weight when I woke up, I'd open up the front door and see if he!! froze over while I was sleeping. Then I'd quickly take 100 pictures of myself in all my skinny clothes and post them all over the web and send them to my friends. Then I'd figure out how to STAY at my goal weight forever. I'd be thrilled. Well, I've moved--finally. That was a HUGE move from my "sold" house to my "new garage." The house isn't done for another 3 weeks. Now I am packing up my rental house this weekend in preparation for another move to my FINAL DESTINATION---haha. One DD is home from college and I'm lovin' every minute of it. The other DH will be home for college on the 11th or 12th. I can't wait. This will be the BEST SUMMER ever: all the kids home and Baby V will be here too for a while, it looks like---his next court date is in September. Who knows though, really. Where is everyone? For 2 or 3 days, I couldn't log on here for some reason. Today was the first time I could. Something must be messed up again...SURPRISE! Okay, gotta fly! Packing this weekend and cleaning out and packing the garage---it never ends---but hey, we're alive, right?

Yeah, we sort of called it the road from HE**. Twas narrow, lots of traffic, and idiotic drivers that passed us when the sight was not clear. Several oncoming vehicles ended up in the ditch. We clearly should not have ridden there, but of course, didn't know this ahead of time. Yes, it looks good, but isn't for cycling. Oh my.....sounds like everyone is having house-fulls. It's just the opposite here. My husband's brother is in ICU and it's extremely serious so he is there and the animals and I are holding down the house and waiting for word when he finds out. I just got down from the sewing room. It's the shank of the day, and hot and I shall wait for it to cool a bit before I go back outside to work. So I am making more HSTs for the depression block and trying to get two blocks sewn together, my unofficial goal for a day's sewing. My granddaughter and my grandson's girlfriend are both having high school graduation parties this weekend, on the same day. I'll be busy sunday and need to do a little cooking before then to take 'stuff'. Speaking of totally scrappies........my current project is. My poor husband........LOL.........he is looking at it and it's got enough contrast the you can tell it's tessellated, keeps asking me if there shall be sashing between the blocks. I know where he was headed with it and he finally came right out and said "It's busy!" Uh huh...........extremely so and I won't know if I love it or hate it until it's done....but it's a true depression quilt genuine to the pattern with scraps from everywhere! Carmelita got a bow in her hair this time when I took her to the groomer for a little trim. She left it in all day. Amazing.
