How to lower the soil ph organically

Hello to all. Last year, my ph meter was reading past the meter itself. I'm talking past 10.0. I used Aluminum Sulfate. Immediatedly, it burned plants and roses bushes. I left it alone until the fall. I tilled in bags of peat moss, bag of sulfur, and a large container of activated charcoal (sulfer).

It's Spring. The PH meter is reading 6.8 to 7.2. I would like it to read 5.5 to 6.4. What can I put in it to bring it down more. Something slow that won't burn.
