What to do when mounting is not an option

Greetings all! I am looking for suggestions on what to do with orchids, namely an angraecum didieri, that prefer to be mounted when mounting is not an option. My problem is that my humidity levels do not support mounting. However, I have a new angraecum that I posted about earlier. I know it prefers mounting but in this climate that means death. I don't have a green house.

What are my other options? I have read to grow it in a clay pot without any medium, clay pot with bark, or in those clay pellets, maybe clay pellets in a clay pot(???). What do you think of these options? Are there other suggestions? Thanks in advance
