Thanks for the ID, Tyrlych! Both "weeds" are nice looking plants. I had no idea that the Gibasis is a plant normally cultivated.

Not bulbs precisely - the plants actually grow from small rhizomatous tubers.......very similar to lily of the valley pips. Yes, one can often find them for sale in fall with other spring blooming bulbs but you are just as likely to find them for sale in leaf (and sometimes flower) as started plants in spring. They are sold like this even at local grocery stores! And they spread or naturalize beautifully if sited where they are happy.

So it's invasive but at least not a listed invasive in this area like some of the other geraniums. Thanks!

buddleia it is I believes, a dwarf variety, with smaller leaves, and compact growth habbit, great for container, and blooming all year for me in tropic.
