Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone. Our son Paul, the one making the bike trip from Mexico to New York, was in Savannah, GA, yesterday and in the very heart of an awesome St. Patty's Day blowout. He was talking to a young guy who said the day is wild, the night total debauchery. Paul's days of debauchery now only a memory, he's in Charleston today and apparently they celebrate pretty hearty there too.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to you too Pidge. The Irish have such a special way of celebrating the moment and having a good time and their music sometimes shows that.

First out of the box I see, Pidge. Happy St. Patrick's Day to you. And yes, Savannah's St. Patrick's Day celebration is legendary. Of course, that town doesn't need much of an excuse to party.

You sure do find the best quotes. That has always been one of my favorites. When we lived right outside San Fransciso,the John Muir National Monument and Woods were minutes from us...oh those wonderful redwoods.

The Hummingbirds used to get to North Georgia on April 15th every year. The past few years it has been the last week in March. I love those little birds. To be honest, I love all birds. I can't believe all the beautiful birds and critters we have in our lives. If we only would take the time to get to know them and their habitats I can guarantee we would never be bored. I have been watching and studying birds for over 40 years and still learn something every day.
