lycopus - Yes, of course I will double check with my father-in-law before ingesting it. He's an expert on plant identification, but I haven't had him over for a visit for awhile. I read the description of the plant and it states that it starts off pink and then turns purple/blue. That is exactly what I have going on in my garden. I thought the pink ones were a different variety, but now I see that they are the immature form of it.

Seeing more of the plant (whole thing/leaves) would help but I suspect it's some type of Myosotis (forget-me-not) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myosotis

Here's a tree in full bloom on our footpath. It's wonderful to see thousands of bees and butterflies feasting on the nectar. A friend said it was 'Milkweed', but when I checked online, I wasn't sure. I would love some help in identifying it. Thanks!
