Thanks Gang. I've been playing with the totem pieces today and looks like I'll be making 2 or 3. All the pieces I picked up yesterday aren't quite working together. But that's ok with me. The cactus I had came from those little bowls that have several tiny cactus in them. Some were given to me years ago. And nothing grows slower than a cactus, LOL. But some definitely to go in the ground now, so I decided to play around and make a tiny cactus garden on side of house in backyard. Area where grass doesn't grow, and also no chance of dogs running into it playing ball. I hope to have photos soon. Lucky, I have a fairy garden on my back patio. I bought several of these from Dollar Tree to add to it. The fairies came in the two poses, but 4 different colored dresses. They are a mat finish, which can be hard to keep clean. I sprayed them, and the little flowers, with high gloss Krylon. Sure makes them looks prettier too I think. hugs, Karen

Hhhmmmm. If you want something that truly looks like a Christmas tree in the fir/spruce mould, no, nothing stops at 20 feet high. However, there are a number of hollies that can be quite permanently sheared to that size, with the right equipment. In the upper south you could go with American holly but some more uncommon hollies might be both more easily shearable and better looking plants. I've seen pictures of 'Scepter' looking cone shaped. All hollies are a little slow when young, but then so are most conifers besides pines bred for forestry. Also, 'Scepter' or certain HIghclere hollies won't be hard to decorate because the leaves are smooth. Hmmmm, I think outdoor decs should reflect the homeowners' personality and the general feel of the inside decorations. What I mean, is that a home with more formal decs inside looks better with something similar outside. I like fun, cute outside decs when the homeowner's inside decs are similarly cute. So, how do you decorate the inside of your home? If it's more formal, perhaps just a couple of animated deer might be nice. You could add luminaries or other lights down your walkway and add more lights in potted decs on either side of your front door. For a fun, more animated look, I'm sure others here will have lots of great ideas for you. There are certainl6y a lot to choose from these days! Good luck! Lynn

Bright, that doll is one of the few things that I have left from my childhood. When we were children, we never really thought to keep things or that one day we might wish we still had it. I can remember several different dolls that I had when I was young and I wonder now whatever happened to all of them. In the photo that has the two dolls in it, the doll that's sitting is in a rocking chair that I gave my oldest daughter for her first birthday. The rocking horse above was a Christmas present to my son from his grandmother when he was about 3 years old I think. When they outgrew them, I started to get rid of them just because I really didn't have storage room, but now I'm glad I didn't. One day they'll have them if they decide they want them. Serendipity, I hadn't really thought about the harpist on the harp table! LOL! You're very observant!! I would love to see your coffee table...don't think I've seen one that was rectangular. I've seen the oval ones, in fact my aunt has one of them. I tried to talk her into giving it me before I found this one. Didn't have any luck though. I can't wait to see photos of your tree!!
