cute ceramic frogs for the garden

I was in Dollar Tree yesterday and saw these adorable frogs.

I have many frogs and bunnies in my garden, but always watch for more. Plus the price was right, LOL.

Your froggie fellow looks like he's related to my froggies! Mine have the same green head with the darker body. I just love having the water gardens so I can watch the frogs every year. Mine get very 'tame' and don't jump when I get near since theyre used to me working around the pond garden. They lay eggs in the watergarden every spring so I get to watch the tadpoles too. Your iris row is looking sensational. I just got into iris a couple years ago and some of mine are starting up. Your snow peas are looking very vigorous. I like how you utilize every bit of space in your yard to garden! I do that too....if I can't find a spot for another garden I just grow things in pots too. I'll be sure to post photos again this summer of Dad's veggie garden because I know you'll appreciate seeing it. Celeste

brokenhead, do you have a window air conditioner in your home? My sister and her husband have a window air conditioner in their diningroom and through the window each evening a little treefrog would always sit on the top of it. Then during the day, they would see him under it somewhere where the moisture/water was dripping. One day they didn't see him there. That night they went into their bedroom and there he was. What a time they also had to catch him! He would jump and attach his little feet to the side of the furniture. They figured that he must have come in through the vents in the air conditioner somehow. Here is a picture of mine. I had been taking pictures of the clematis in bloom and looked up and saw him. He must have thought that the clematis trellis was just wide enough to sleep on and didn't care less that I was getting closer and closer to him with my camera...except that he did finally open his eyes. I'm glad everyone is enjoying the pictures! Thank you laura1 for the ID on the white butterfly, that's exactly what it is. The information I found online says that the caterpillars feed on plants in the mustard (Brassicaceae) and caper (Capparidaceae) families. They are found mostly found in the southern United States to northern Mexico, with the occasional sighting in the northern United States and southern Canada.

They're so cute. Now you need a sign like I have on the stump where my frogs and mushrooms hang out.

Laura, I have half a dozen cute "frog signs" on the back burner to make. For my Frog Hollow area. I just need to stop procrastinating and make them. Besides the one you mentioned, I want to do these up...

Those are very cute! It's such a good thing I don't have a dollar tree nearby! LOL I already have 3 frogs and am calling it a closed collection. Fingers crossed. ;-)

Those have the cutest expressions on their face, I especially like the one laying on his belly. He looks like he is getting ready to jump in a pond any minute! LOL!
Great find, dontcha love the DT??!! You have definitely got to make those signs, those sayings had me giggling here at work!

but heck I LOVE FROGS always have..so I have a ton too! They are good luck in many cultures and for some the bringers of rain.
