Questions on Fuzzy Kiwi...

We have two HUGE, beautiful and vigorous kiwi plants in a community area by our home, that have basically been abandoned and left to survive on their own. These plants are somewhere in the vacinity of 70-90 years old and are about 20-25 feet tall on a huge wood & wire trellis.

Both are loaded with fruit, but they have different shaped fruits. One type is elongated like the type you buy in the store and the others look more like a plump disc shape instead of elongated. Do the male kiwi plants bear fruit? Are these male and female, or are these some of the self-fertile types?

I'm saving seed from both types and am going to try cuttings. I've heard this isn't easy, but hey, the either grow or not :)

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
