Front drive Snapper vs. rear drive Craftsman?

Does front or rear drive have advantages that the other doesn't. I'll be doing mostly rear bagging on a level, medium sized yard.

The Craftsman rear drive has a 7.0 B&S "platinum" engine. The Snapper front drive has the 6.75 or maybe it's the 6.5 and has large rear wheels. As near as I can determine, reliability, which is of primary importance, is similar for both. Same price for both.

Any opinions as to which would be a better purchase?
