Ann, I like your flowers. They are so pretty in the garden. We are sliding into fall, I sure would like to get a some orange and yellow for a harvest theme. Sure would help my garden.

Very cute Donna! Hey I went to the Habitat for Humanity restore in Hickory today. Thanks for telling me about it! I only bought some fabric and what I think may be a VERY old mason jar. I went to GW, too and got super lucky there. Found some cut glass dishes, one with a lid, a glass lamp to use for either a totem or a bird feeder and the best, most luckiest find of all (has nothing to do with garden junk) a pair of Lucky jeans, brand new and fit perfectly! $110 at Macy's, I even checked the style number, for $3.50! Now THAT'S LUCKY!!! Anyhoo, great job on the plate flowers, are some of them plastic (melamine)? I bet they are a lot easier to drill through! Robin

Hi Dort~ All of my plate flowers I drilled in the center and put together except for one that I used the Silicone II on. If you search plate flowers on this forum you should find lots of directions and pictures. The latest method is to glue the plate flower to a bend spoon and then put the spoon handle in the pvc or pipe. Let me know if that isn't clear and I'll see if I can find the thread with pictures.

I had gotten 2 or 3 how did I attatch questions. I was browsing around the plumbing department in Home Depot and tried this. I just glued a plumbing elbow to the back of the plate and slid it right on the spindle. This way I can bring it in to wash in the winter too.(Only .63)

They are lovely I would like to see one with leaves too. Good luck with your show. Besure to keep us posted. Kim, fyi: The pvc pipes that I attached the garden signs that I made for a local shelter held up pretty well except where they got snowplowed. I used automotive goop on them. I posted the tutorial from my blog below. Scroll down through part 2 to part 1 where I talk about attaching the pipe fittings. katishooked...I found a way to add color to my flowers, especially if you have a lot of clear glass. I had some CD's that were colored (orange, purple, blue, black) and they were dude CD's, so I put them behind the candle holder part of the flower. They add beautiful irridescent color to the flowers. Gibsona.... Nice flowers!! Anny

Looks like you have caught the bug and are as addicted to the flowers as the rest of us! I love them. They are all beautiful but I think I like the clear and red one the best. Keep showing us your pictures! ~Micki~

Nice!! I love the 6 pointed star one, will look great with greenery around it & maybe some purple flowers!! I'd like to see the CD ones also!! Sounds interesting!! Jan
