I think I've tried it but it's been so long ago I'm not sure. Most of the non hardy seedless are pretty forgettable. I've already given you my favorites but they probably require spraying in your location.

So which do you like best of what you have?

Fruitnut- Best to worst of U. of Arkansas grapes in my opinion: Jupiter- truly an outstanding plant and fruit; Venus- very good overall, good grape flavor, somewhat slow to start producing, nice large berries in attractive bunches; Reliance- excellent in every way except flavor which is the typical off note of concord. No one in my family would eat them, though some people like them.; Mars- Very large berries with mealy texture and the same off concord flavor times ten. The only grape I've seen people spit out. I'll probably get Saturn just to complete the cycle.

I am thinking of ordering grape cuttings from U C Davis, any suggestions?

Had a wonderful crop of Glenora a seedless purple grape here in 5A. It never did much the first few years, a few half-filled out bunches of second rate grapes. I kind of forgot about it while it covered a wall on my patio. A couple of weeks ago I saw a glint of purple under some leaves out of the corner of my eye and there was a large, gorgeous bunch of grapes, maybe 20 pounds or so total. Seedless, too. I expect it will work down to Z7. I wouldnt go below that. Supposedly it has pretty foliage in fall, but in my experience, that's kind of variable.

Some criticize it for not being too productive, but it seems OK for home use to me. Got some real raves about it at the office.

I've tried Saturn grapes. My friend is growing them. I like them better than Mars, Jupiter, Seedless Concord, Glenora, St. Teresa, Ruby Seedless, and Vanessa. Though I'll say it is close. The flavor isn't actually better than a lot of those, it's more of a standard grape flavor, but the crispness, texture, and juiciness of the Saturn, combined with it's competitively good taste, makes me want to eat this one.
