Need help with ideas

Hi everyone. Hope you are all having a great and safe 4th. I was doing a bit of de-junking (ha if there ever was such a word) and I came across these glass shades. They are old and I kept them, thinking that I could do something with them. Only thing is I can't think of what to do. They were originally from an epergne I believe. They are 5 inches long and the opening of the tulip is 3 inches across, the base is one inch across. They are very pretty and I hate that they are stored in a drawer. I know that you are all very creative. Is there someway that I could use these/display them?

Besides using them in a totem, I wonder if you could find a glass tube to put inside of them and use as single/double flower holders. Those are gorgeous.

I have 4 or 5 covers, that I have no idea what to with. But YOURS? Wow, those are cool! I hope you find something very creative to do with them. Maybe a windchime?

Do you have a more private deck/sitting area behind the home? I'm not one to like sitting out on the street and watching the traffic. If yours is a neighborly area with lots of walkers and people who stop to chat, you might plan to sit there. However, I would simply have it stained to match either the siding or a color from the brick. Spend most of your budget on pretty airy landscaping. Have you considered removing your shutters? I love the current green, and the yellow front door! The uniformity of the green allows the garage car-doors and people-door to blend in. I'd remove the fence unless it is serving a purpose (which I don't see). For safety, ensure the visibility of your house numbers from the street. Is there anything you'd like to add out front, such as a sitting space, a cover or a bench near either door? (I don't see the need for anything, it's just what functionality you would like.) For landscaping suggestions, re-post your picture, include your planting zone, the direction your house faces (East?), and a nearby major city so that people can make practical recommendations, and hope that a professional gives you a pretty picture to go by :-) Nice house!

I grew you don’t necessarily need anything on that wall. But you can do a wallpaper if you want. I think that would cover most of your ‘Needs’. For the desk area I think a large piece of artwork. Maybe a cool antique looking picture of a map in a gold frame would look so pretty. You have amazing taste beautiful spaces

Talkto a real estate agent to see if you'll get your money back. It's not clear to me wht soil you have to plant in. A white house with a green lawn, as in your inspo pic looks nice. A whitee house in a sea of white gravel/dirt/concrete as in your top pic, not so much. Equally, from what I see,you have some nice plantings in the places where you can put them. I strongly recommend you find some lndscaping ideas that are a better match for your house and climate, because from what I see, you're not going to achieve anything much like tht pic.

those are beautiful. Maybe you could GEII it to a matching saucer to use as a vase. Beautiful. Or put it on a copper pipe and put a light up thru it for a path light.

Thank you for the ideas. I love the thought of using them as lighting. I found flickering battery operated tea lights at the Dollar Store and they fit inside about 1/2 way down. I might try to see if copper piping fits (I have some hanging around in the garage and using them as lights in the garden or in my planters.

It's great to have a place to share ideas.

I think the pipe thing will work! Yeah.....however, in scrounging around for the pipe I found two bear claw bathtub feet that I had in the garage. Stuck the shade in the hole and viola!....instant candle - abra!

Boy my creative juices are flowing.
