I am at my end with these trees. I have about 20 honeycrisp and they are just not growing. The leaves are constantly yellow/brown, and their water situation is the same as all the trees around them. These are stunted and not producing apples. They are about 7 years old and 5-6 feet tall. Scraggly looking trees. They have been fertilized the same as all the trees around them (just right).
Ripping them out and planting something that does well such as Gibson Golden is very tempting - Any advice against ripping them out? I have heard about some disorder with honeycrisp where if they don' bear fruit they have what appears to b e chlorosis. Not sure if there is anything I can do about it.
