Syngonium (Arrowhead) leaves keep dying

I have a small Syngonium "Cream" plant that I've had for about one year now. In that time, it keeps putting out new leaves, but most dry out and die away before maturing. At first I thought this was due to low humidity, but over the summer it was outdoors and was doing this, and is still doing this even indoors with a humidifier in the room. It is in a terra-cotta pot, but I keep the soil moist. It only recieves very indirect light in the morning, but I supplement with 12 hrs of light from fluorescent bulbs. It hasn't died back; it has only grown more slowly than I feel it should. My spider plants, pothos, draceana, and dumbcane are all doing well. Any suggestions? Thanks.
