I have finally finished several projects I have been working on. I wish I knew how to load more than one picture. This was my Mother's Day present built with my husband. I got poison ivy from this endeavor.

super job on the raised vegetable beds...i am getting ready to do another one but this one is big and have to haul about 8 tons of processed top soil first and then i'm going to do mine like yours just a little different design with the boxes...my goes across my yard so i am going to put a fence across there with a arch and a growing vine and inside a sitting bench with a trellis over and then put some flowers in it. i am going to have three long square one's and a octagon one in the middle. and then mulch the area like you did...here is where i got my idea, just scroll down about four posters and there are tons of pictures the two i loved is the one with the trellis and the one with the poles with flowers in it...both look like a flower bed. http://forums2.gardenweb.com/forums/load/cornucop/msg0419470025521.html

Sure glad everyone liked my pictures. But alot of it has came over the years of others and some are mine. Yes the winds blows and sometimes I have to pick things up and start all over. But then I think it always looks better than the first time. The purses and hung with pieces of bricks in the bottom so they will not sway in the wind. We have thirty dogs right now but I had to make myself stop playing with the dogs to give me time to garden alittle. I have had the kitchen for awhile and it seems to just get better and better as each summer approaches. Adding more and more each year. Next year I want to continue with the theme but to add a front room and make the bath tub into a fountain. Just have not had time this year. When I go out and look at somwthing the first question I ask myself is "Can I put dirt into it?" If the answer is yes than I can always find a spot for it later. then I try to group my items to look better. Thanks everyone for being the best friends around.

I am in michigan you know only three nice months out of the year. About 2.5 hours north of detroit. You should send me pictures of your kitchen I would love to see them or are they posted elsewhere? I had an old house in town before I got married and I replaced all the windows. I have them throughout my home, some with mirrors in and some just plain. I have also stenciled flowers on some. Needless to say I sold the home and have a new one. My brother is my neighbor and he is in the glass business......so some things are pretty easy to obtain. What colors of green did you use? My colors are oranges,greens some yellows..... Thanks for everybodys input!! I would like to plant some tall flowers of some kind but do not know what. Besides this has been the summer for those things that crawl on the ground.......SNAKES!! They seem to have taken up home under this shed. I am almost terrified to go out there. I am not sure about you all but you can find me in the next county if I see one.

Well now oldlady59, that looks like one handy little cart! I pick up those refrigerator shelves anytime I see them at the dump. They can be used for so many things, and they're strong. I like them as shelves for plants because they let the water drain through. I totally agree about so many useful things being thrown away. Had to laugh when I saw your wood, that's what I'm doing up on the pc so early this a.m., putting another log on the fire. tfs, Donna

You've been busy! Love the chair your DH made for you...sorry about the poison....I have the same problem with that. Love your Fairy Bog garden too! And your moss garden is so cute sitting amongst the hostas, etc.

Your tipsy pots are very nice as well! Thanks so much for sharing them all with us.

Thank you for the compliments. I am very bad about collecting most of what I need to do a project and then 6 years later getting the bug to complete it. I had 2 bouncy horses that I wanted to paint as carousel horses and saw one at an abandoned house this week that I brought home. I now have all 3 in the living room and have started working on them.

I think I was afraid of painting them but have had more experience painting in the last 2 years so they are my next project. I learned several techniques with spray paint and that if I mess up it is easy to correct. I had finished a concrete leaf and was putting a last gloss clear coat on it and by accident grabbed a can of white gloss that didn't have the colored top on it and got 1 pass of white spray on my leaf---PANIC!!! Cleaned with acetone to get off the white and then re painted with 4 colors of rustoleum. That taught me that it was fixable so I am now brave enough to start on the horses.

OOOH! I love all your projects...but I especially like your tipsy pots. I like that they are VERY tipped. I made one a couple years ago, but they were just barely tipped and didn't have as much pazaaz as your does!

Love all of your projects. I also run in fits and spurts. It is fine. I found I have pulled out a lot of things this spring from my stash to complete. I enjoy seeing the stashed things again as they become new again.

Your little fairy moss garden is so cute. Love the herb tippy pots too, Great idea to save space and have fresh herbs close at hand for picking.

You have inspired me. Thanks!!!
