Crack in Peach Tree Trunk

User

I am in need of your expert advise again.

After my first winter with my peach trees, I noticed a crack in one of the trunks. I asked a local nursery and they told me not to cover it with sealant, that the tree would heal itself. Well it didnt and it went through another winter and nothing happened, I was afraid it would have killed it. Now I see that crack is still not closed and it is leaking some sort of sap out of it, I think it did that the year before also. I just need to know if I should buy a sealant for it or let it go through winter again. I also seen that sap oozing from my other tree right at a branch angle. Since I have no experts on Peach trees here I really rely on all your advice. This is my nicest tree and I really do not want to lose it.

Thanks alot for any help
