What is that growing out of the stump? Did you move that there or was it already in the garden?

It is a sunflower, I had the hollow piece of wood in front of my stairs last winter with pine boughs and berries and ribbon with a string of lights
when I took them out in the spring I thought wow that would go in the gnome garden
and hubby bought me the sunflower
It was a lot of work still needs edging but it was worth it when I see the end result
on the one end are my hens and chicks and anything I had with roosters on it

I love it, too. Gnomes are the best! And that red gazing ball is fantastic - love how it POPS! Will you be planting anything in the bed behind the wall? I saw a lot of bare ground begging for color. ;-)

My husband wants to build a water feature so this year its a blank slate, I am slowly planting the sides, I have 2 ground yews to put on the sides also but am going to wait until cooler weather
