FYI....our Totem Inspiration Album

I got around to updating our Totem album, I've gotten behind in a lot of things lately it seems.

Anyway, we now have 135 photos in that album. That's a bunch of totems to drool over.

Purplemoon, Thank you for the sweet welcome! And thank you so much for that link. What a wonderful compilation of art---just amazing! Just as I expected, I was still up looking at the GJ Inspiration Album when I noticed the time -- 2:20 A.M. ! I didn't just look at the photos. I enlarged, cropped, magnified just so I could inspect every detail up to page 9. (guess you know what I'll be doing tonight when the family settles in and I have the computer all to myself. LOL) I had spent the last few weeks reorganizing, pulling out, moving, transplanting, changing focal points and now I have a whole brain full of new ideas thanks to all of you who have posted photos! I have an album at PhotoBucket but it only includes nicer areas of the gardens. Never dreamed anyone would be interested in my camping coffee pot or tennis shoes planters! I'll have to start taking new pictures and this time include what I used to think was "my way of saving the landfills and me being thrifty --- and anyway, who wants to see dirty white tennis shoes planted?". That's what I used to think, now I've found this board! Also, more about me --- other than a few 4", 6" and 8" clay pots to use as starters, there isn't a pot or plant stand in the backyard that I've ever paid for. I love curb shopping!

Yes, I did use the bent spoon. I used the GEII and stacked them together, then let them cure for 24 hours before flipping them and adding the spoon to the back with the E6000. I let that cure for another 24 hours before placing them in the garden. Mine were heavy as well, but as long as you make sure to press each piece to make good contact and let them cure long enough, they should be fine. I have really enjoyed mine, it added a lot to my back yard! Good luck, and be sure to post pics so we can all drool :)

Purplemoon - I am in AWE of your totems! The pitcher frog is so cute!!! I love the colors and how you put them together. And, the amber totems are so "classy" ... wow, I am amazed at how you glass/mosaic people come up with these wonderful finished pieces!! Haven't ventured into totems yet (nor bb's)...but I keep tucking away pieces of glass now in my garden shed. And I'm ready to do a "rope-wrapped" bowling ball for my nautical part of pool garden...just plain and simple ol' haymow rope. Glad you had a "blonde" day ... or not a "blonde" day, whatever??? Wow,purplemoon, you are truly amazing! Thanks just doesn't seem enough for all you do for this site. How wonderful is it, that we have all that creativity in one bunch for us to search for just the right one to inspire us. They are so beautiful and so different from each other. Each one has it own unique personality. mojowest is so right, so MUCH creativity!!!! Thanks again!

Its fun to see so many totems in one spot. Only problem is
I find wanting myself want one of each!! Now where on earth would I put over 100 more totems? LOL.
I have 17 now I think, and am trying to use the small bit of glass left in my garage to make a final "few more". Then I want to just make some mini totems to put in plant pots. I am trying to get back into my yard stuff this year.

Don't forget we have 18 other GJ Albums with all kinds of stuff in them. And please remember, if there is something you want added to an album, just let me know! These are YOUR albums, I'm merely the caretaker.

Just an FYI for any of you who like to do indoor decorating,
some of us here are also on the Holidays Forum (where they have fun doing table settings as well) and I've got Holiday Inspiration albums on Photobucket too. With lots of sub albums for each holiday, and over 1000 photos there too I believe. You can find the Holiday Inspiration one by going to my home page from the GJ link.

Marlene, my dear friend, you are so sweet to me and continually brighten my days. You're just a little ray of sunshine. LOL.
