Rubber Plant pests

I don't have a camera, and I know it's difficult to tell these things without a photo, but I'll describe the situation as best I can.

The underside of my rubber plant's leaves are crawling with tiny, what look to be pale green, insects. They are small, but easily visible to the naked eye. The topside of the leaves have small, pinprick-sized white/pale green dots, mainly along the outer edges of the leaves. There's no webbing, or powdery residue, or anything, and the leaves aren't dropping.

I've removed the plant from where it was, as it was amongst others, but so far none of them seem to have these crawling creatures.

Does anyone know what these might be?
