Grrr.. something is eating my strawberries!

I committed myself to being extremely diligent in taking care of my strawberry bed this year. I started a new bed in early spring, have fertilized it and watered it! It has been flowering and has even produced a few strawberries (though not nearly what I've seen others produce!). I couldn't tell you how tasty my berries are though as something is eating them before I ever get a chance to! The bed is completely fenced in with 1 inch hardware cloth, buried under ground about 4-5 inches. I have also put straw around my plants and then draping over my plants, by about 6-8 inches is bird netting. Other vegetable plots in this same garden don't seem to be bothered by anything. What gives? Mice? Voles? Moles? Chipmunks? Our yard is completely fenced in as well - and we live in a subdivision - so no deer or squirrels either. Sigh! Help!

I want to be successful...help! My 3 and 5 year old were so hopeful we'd have strawberries this year. :(
