on the subject of misting

How many do it and on what? I've read everything from that it's good to prevent mites and dead spots all the way to it causes fungal issues.

I personally mist some of my plants with distilled water. Distilled because a- if some gets on the floor or walls it will evaporate cleanly and b- I'm sure there won't be any metals or salts in the water to build up on the leaves. I mist them maybe once a day so they don't stay wet but the get a mild rinsing.

I mist everything except a Sanseveria which I assume being a succulent won't like water sitting on it.
