Linda, I think when I first came on, there was one person who was in charge, giving a subject for the POTM (I thought it was pot of the month, lol) They would put the pics together in FAQs I think or ??. They got tired or busy elsewhere and so we had another take over. She got to busy with family so it was just hanging. Now I could see they both did a fantastic job. So someone would say what is it, what about and off we would go. I was often anxious to find out by the first of the month so I could finally get it posted by the end...lol. Then a couple of months ago, someone said ok what is it...so I tagged them, said you are it, pick next months subject. So off we went. If you pick it one month, you tag for the next one. Just gives more variety to the subject. And no real rules to stick to...no real deadline and no winner, just winners. Nothing mandatory for the list, just for some extra fun. More new ideas to steal and do ourselves, lol. yes, February is something folksy, primary color(s) and has something that moves. boy I have NO ideas but maybe something will pop into my head. June

I think Tiffy had her feelings hurt a bit and we never want that to happen to anyone. I have watched and always someone does not like the subject. Well, please make what you want to that month, that is your project of the month. And share it cause we will love it and of course copy if we can cause we are impressed with good work and new ideas. I agree with NMex girl, on Thur she should just post a new thread announcing the subject for March. then she can tag for April or just ask for suggestions at the end of month.

Josh: Lol, that photo was actually one of the ones I used to clinch the identification once I had narrowed it down to either Dorset or Morich. You posted the same picture at the start of August in a different thread (link below), but then you said the Dorset were on the top. And they definitely look more like the ones on top than on the bottom. Luvs, thank you. I actually had the kids take pics of my tables when I did them 2 years ago since they had dig cameras and I didn't. I never dreamt back then that I would find the terrific people on this forum to share them with. Jane, thanks! I am happy you feel my tables have "progressed". dd50, I appreciate your comments. Must have been a fluke that my pics turned out well back then as I knew even less than I do now about photography! Lynn, thank you. That candle lamp is another one of my Partylite treasures. I'm not sure it is available anymore. I got it for free because I hosted a party and had a lot in sales otherwise I would NEVER have paid the $90, they wanted for it!!! I know what you mean about seeing similar ones but they aren't quite as elegant. Gail, thanks! I agree that snowflakes and Valentines go together but I never really thought about the "laciness" of the snowflakes being the reason - is true though. I also link the two because we are certainly in winter-mode here in February! DD
