went to 4 ts with a Big Lot visit in between (they have 75% off Christmas and lots of christmas trees, I got the small picket fences for my fairy garden)

house is a box, small pots for fairy garden, clock works or it would be a fairy house, still may be, lol. The garden fairy birdhouse is a think plastic I think and has metal wings that bobble with wind.

white bird container is metal and would be good used at Christmas with arrangement inside, round metal container has green checkerboard pattern on the outside, round tin has roses all over, then under that is a blue metal fleck tin plate, small green 4 part metal holder has apples on it, frog is a music box that plays you are my sunshine, the metal X is for valentine kiss.....wire flower pot will be for my fairy garden (I will need half acre for sure at this rate, lol) {{gwi:129259}}

Boy Twomonths, you really made a haul. Our stores just don't have much any more, darn it! I guess maybe I need to go earlier and sooner to catch bargains like those.

Ladies, I know pics say millions. Thanks jeannie, I would never have known that photobucket was free. I have seen pics from others on that website for years. The plumbers block dish is about 8" x 8" by 2"deep. I balanced everything together in the Thrift shop. One lady walking by said it looked cool but wobbly. But she did not know you guys secret GE II SILICONE GLUE. I actually did see that glass microwave plate I did consider it for a moment. But I am going to let that inverted plumbers block dish dig into the soil for anchorage. I went to OSH last night and found the glue. First I saw it in the small tubes for 4.29 a tube, but then I saw the big caulking tubes, (had to ask the young man at the paint counter how to work the caulking gun..lol). Last night I set it all together again in the garage it looks cool. I also scored on a rustic white tin garden angel with dangling wood legs, and a white and rust middle eastern type of lantern (for a tealight) that fit perfectly on a garden hook that was white and rusty. ;-) Concrete - ..when you mentioned the punch bowl I pictured that for the top.

Thanks everyone, I wish I could claim it as my design, but I saw a kit like this on the internet and decided to build my own. The metal stakes on the corners are designed to hold concrete forms, and are pointed on one end. The ground was so soggy, that just by pushing the boards down over the stakes that it pushed them in too far! The stakes are 18" long, and I was planning on a couple inches sticking up so I could bend a piece of PVC over each one and make a hoop house for earlier spring planting. I'll have to get my pliers out and pull them up some. I will get my persuader tonight from my parents house and hopefully get rid of the gaps between the boards. All in all it cost me about 30 bucks, but that's because I went for the stakes at $3 a piece and better grade 2x6s. Rebar was much cheaper, but there wasn't a straight piece to be had in the right length, and I didn't feel like cutting it myself. Now I just need to get some compost and such to put in it and get the IRT 100 on it to start heating the soil. I was going to put some linseed oil on the boards, but HD wanted 25 bucks a gallon and I wouldn't have needed but a quart, so I just passed on it and will let nature do it's thing to the boards. I also found some plastic lathe from when I put some shutters up in my parents house, it's about 1/2" wide and 1/8" thick. I think it's 4ft in length. I'm going to use this to make a grid so that it looks pretty.

Jane :: Yep, it was me that found the little pair of owls on another outing. I found this one and think he'll go neatly on the side cabinet to tie in the 2 smaller ones. You're right.. The little deer is destined for the Christmas tote. I thought he was adorable and have some larger ones bought years ago and I think he'll tuck in nicely with them. :-) I know it's waaay early, but my Christmas wheels are already turning. LOL Punk: Go forth and snoop. You won't find treasure if you don't go looking for it :). Magpie: You read my plans for the apple plates. A plan is in process :).

Thanks for all your comments on my um, Goodies! Jeanne, I couldn't just buy for one Holiday with the selection so I tried to get some for ea one. DS offered to pay me to clean his house while he was on vacation. He had a showing today and wanted it to look nice. Our children are very special to me and I try to help when ever I can. Marylee, glad you enjoyed seeing all my finds. Nana, the jesters would work for Mardi Gras but they will not be the right colors. Guess that's what we call contrast. I have never set a MG table but these may be my inspiration. I'm so excited to see what your DGD found for you. Hope to see pictures soon! Luvs, glad you enjoyed all these things. I haven't ask DH to paint the candle holders yet but it's coming. DS is the sweetest guy and loves a clean home. He has 2 businesses so works more hours than I do most of the time. He has everything for sale and would like to go to Honduras for a couple of months. DD & I would love to bring him back to help with our businesses but not sure he wants to work with all us girls. Jane, all of these things I bought should be fun to accent with. I'm always buying things at Ross and TJ Maxx but ys are so much cheaper and alot more fun. DS always tells me he loves me every time we talk. Pretty appreciative guy and he's always wanting to pay for everything when we go shopping. NO I don't let him. I tell him I'm the mom and it's my job to spoil him. Candy, I'm not suprised you like the Christmas items best. I've always liked a little scary for Halloween so that light up, noise making skull really called to me. Remember my Indian Joe I showed last year?LOL We bought DS a iRobot Roomba a couple of years ago at Christmas so his main part of the house is always vacuumed every day. He better know he's lucky/spoiled or I haven't done a very good job.haha Marlene, glad you enjoyed seeing all of the things I picked out. I have to work on Sat. so hope I can find a few good sales before we open.LOL Funny thing, I didn't have many bunnies when I started here but you ladies have me checking for them every time I shop. TJ Maxx has a couple of cute ones but I'm hoping to find them at a ys instead. I just brought in 2 totes to start filling. FYI...We ran to Walmart tonight and picked up some nice wreaths at 50% off for next memorial day. Punk

Gosh, you found GREAT stuff!! 75%??? I miss those days. You're lucky if ya get 30% here in Australia. They are so darned cheap here. I went to an after Christmas sale only ONCE here because what they do is REMOVE 75% of the items and leave mostly perishables out at a measley 30% off. Terrible I tell ya.

But I digress... GREAT FINDS!!! I'm in love with that white bird container. Exactly the kind of stuff I DROOL over!! The wire, what you call flower pot, looks like a goblet to me and first thing I thought was how cool would that look in Our Lady Gardyn. (YES!! I am COVETING! LOL) Looks like it can be made to look medievally.

Wonderful shopping day the angel and the white box with the bird on top are my favs. That box would look great on my mantel...hint hint!! LOL! Can't wait to see what you do with them all.

Glad you enjoyed...but I am afraid I fueled the 'adiction' some and they fell off the wagon, lol. We used to have one TS open only and now I can get to 4 within 5 miles of me and another close that says it is now open but always closed when I go by.

cait it would look good in the your ladye garden...send me you address and I will mail it to you. I have several other items to use for flowers in my fairy garden.

What great stuff ... and thanks for enlarging the pictures! My ol' eyes thank you! lol! I love the fairy birdhouse, bird bucket and the metal X. Love your idea for it! The rose covered canister looks like an ideal piece for Valentines Day too. Great buys!

I had to crack up at your 1/2 acre comment! he-he I can relate to that one!
