Darn!!! I have tried three times to update my page but when I click on save it won't save the changes. HElp. Has anyone else had problems???

Bright, Carol posted her page. Same thing happened! We think it's because she took a long time to write it. Then, I had her write it on WORD, sign onto her page and cut and paste her words from WORD, and immediately update. Then, it worked.

I also discovered that on the home page of "Discussions", you can go down to the bottom of the page and click on "Members Services Page", click on it, and click on "Search for Members". It'll take you to the member's my page. I noticed that sometimes newer people don't show up in a basic search but will show up on "Search for Members". I'm learning LOTS! :o)

I love the idea of posting lists. Wanted to do that when gathering addresses but thought I would go crazy with transferring that much info. Wait! Carol says I'm already crazy! HA!

I'm loving everyone's excitement! Carol and I were planning our gifts last night! We looked at past postings of our Secret Santa persons and got some great ideas. I know I've said this before, but isn't this FUN?! Kirk

Think by now everyone knows I love rabbits (and the moon.
Not moon-faces however. Just nice plain crescent moon on things.) But of course you can't go wrong with me as I like too much of everything. I LOVE rocks and wood but think the shipping might be a much....LOL.
But glass birds, little decorative birdhouses, cute frogs, etc. All are great for my gnome and fairy gardens.
Heck, as I said, everything makes me happy!!!

This is going to be fun to see what everyone gets. I expect to see LOTS of photos.

I just updated my page, thank goodness I looked, had my birthdate as 1904...Hee, Hee, I must have been asleep when I first edited my page, I mean I'm old but about half a century less than that!!!! Anyway, if my Secret Santa wants to know... I love old rusty things, things with a "history", whimsical items that make you smile (or laugh) when you see them, different kinds of birdhouses, feeders, quirky metal hanging "thingies" and an odd bit of sparkle!
But you know what??? The best thing about the Secret Santa is getting to know another Garden Junker!!!! I love making new friends!!! Melvie

Well I finealy got mine to update. But now I have to go back and add bird stuff and defineatly architectural salvage...HEE, HEE. I am soo easy to please... if no one else wants it I'll probably love it.

I just remembered to check my e-mail and saw my S.S. e-mail! And I'm already working on what I'm going to send, just have to finish making it first.

I like just about anything but really like blue glass things, chiming things, and anything neat to hang in my trees.

I puttered around GW and Savers tonight looking for inspiration, when it occurred to me...I'll probably end up buying all kinds of things before I finally decide on a gift. I get a flash for something neat, and then I see something that gives me another flash! I've purchased 3 things to work with already! I can hardly wait to see how much stuff I end up with! lol

What a fun project!

By the way...the restaurant we went to tonight has it's Christmas tree and decorations up already! I remember when they used to wait until after Thanksgiving. (Did I just give my age away?!!)

You know that I got your Secret Santa email notification too! Yep, this is too much fun. Earlier in the day that you sent it I did some shopping.....BUT,I still need to do some more....I use all the items I find too, whether it ends up as a gift or not. :-)

Ok, i think mine is listed on my page. BUT, my likes are hummingbirds, dragonflies, cute realistic frogs (those fat chubby frogs are freaskish to me) ladybugs, praying mantis', all things rust, bling for the garden (anything that has mirror in it), oh yeah and really cool sounding windchimes that can withstand the harsh elements of the desert. Oh, I also like those whimsical tin garden signs. OK, I hope that is a good start for whoever IS MY Secret Santa! :-)Oh, I'm attaching a link to one of my albums online (it is unsorted but gives you a good view of my gardens and things in them)

ok... I gotta question, because i am in the UK i have to fill out a customs form describing the gift i am sending. This is driving me mad as I just don't want it to spoil the suprise for the receiver. Any idea how i can get round this? I was thinking maybe if i worded the form in a general way instead of being specific to what the gift is, or would that make the parcel suspious so that the customs open it? HELP!!! what do you think?

47 people have e-mailed me back, telling me they have received their Secret Santa persons! Only 4 people left to hear from! Isn't that great? If I don't hear from people, I'll send another e-mail out on Friday, followed by a letter in snail mail. I'm taking my job so serious! :o)

Wonderful picture!!! But you can keep the snow!! I keep watching for more posts on what people like. as well as updates of member pages.... This is sooo fun. It's hard to send just one item. I always go over board.

What a great looking couple you are! Tell me that's a pic from last winter...you didn't get snow already, did you? I'm sure you got my e-mail saying I got yours, but I'm letting you know here too like everyone else. I'm just wondering when to send out my gift. I don't want to send it out too early, but I know that it can take quite a while for it to arrive if you send it in December. Oh my gosh, I'm so excited! I want to send it now!!

We're sending our gifts out the day after Thanksgiving. They're boxed and ready to go! Ha! Can you tell we're excited!? Toomuchglass! 35 years! That is inspiring and touching! That made my day! (I collect old walking canes...started with my Dad's collection.)

Aren't Junkers the best!?!?!? I'm so excited about this. I got our some stuff and started kicking around ideas for my person's gift today. Then life happened. S'OK! I've still got time. I'll be planning it out in my mind for days. That's part of the fun!

If someone wants to know what I like they can search me on the junk forum or just look at my WebShots albums. I doubt that they'll find a boy cuter than my Sammo! (hee hee) I'll be tickled with anything! I love surprises!
