Plum Curculio-Kickback activity of insecticides
14 years ago
Recently, there was a question about the kickback activity of Imidan on PC.
According to the latest CAT alert (MSU Online Fruit Newsletter). Imidan can provide kickback of up to two weeks post-infection. They also list neonicotinoids as having similar kickback activity, which I did not know.
In their words, " If plum curculio infestation occurs and a rescue treatment is needed, organophosphates and neonicotinoids can provide curative action up to two weeks after plum curculio infestation, although in some cases dead cadavers can still be found in fruit."
Here is the link.
