My Gk's came today.Corey my GS broke his wrist at school.He wanted to know all about Jt.Kylie My GD got alittle to close to GS's cast,he turned around and she got it in her mouth,They enjoyed JT.Kylie loves Jt's jewery.

Wow, you got it fast! Sure hate to hear that the green bowl didn't make it. If I could have done it over, I would have just sent it to you separately, because it was a great totem piece that I wanted you to have. It was a bowl within a bowl, I think it was a shrimp cocktail dish. It looked like a wide mushroom upside down. As you said Karen, it was padded well, so I wouldn't advise sending any large glass pieces. So glad the smaller ones made it okay! The rocks and everything were really padded, and the box was so full nothing would shift, so I can't help but wonder if some disgruntled postal worker just threw the thing down because it was so heavy! LOL ... awwwwww no one would do that would they? hehe (no offense Micki, we know you'd never go "postal" LOL) And the two copper-ish pieces that I kept ... the only reason I kept them was in order to fit that green glass bowl into the box! ..... errrr .... live and learn ;-) ... but I promise to use them! Just saw the pics of JT visiting Phoenix! She is having a great time! Loved the pics!!! Oh and the glass bluebird ... isn't is just beautiful!? I hated to bust up a set of two, but now one lives in Chattanooga and one in Phoenix! So glad you like it, and I appreciate the person who put them into the JT box, they ended up in two different loving homes! I'm so glad your're having fun the the Junk Train, Karen! I'll work on the album sometime this week. I'm still trying to get things done with the loss of my Dad. Finalized arrangements, but now lots of paperwork to complete with notification of his passing to different places. Thank goodness Campbell doesn't have too many stations before me, so it will be fairly easy to get his album set up properly. I'll let y'all know when its ready. hugs, Karen

I forgot to add this picture ... I also got this pretty hummingbird planter out of the Junk Train. I also thought I'd share a video of the light show they put on at the Mitchell Park Domes at night. It is very cool! The link to the video at YouTube is below. Tomorrow I'm not sure where we will take JT. I wanted to take her to a special museum here in Milwaukee until I found out it costs $16 a person to get in there! Yikes! So we will try something else. Yippee! I am so thrilled your DH liked the cow tags! I have quite a few that I am going to use for decorating with, but I wanted to share some with my GJ buddies. Glad you are going to do something with the glass fish. I couldn't get around to a project for them, but knew someone else could come up with a great idea. The only other thing I see from me is the little blue and green candle holder. I was kinda thinking the center for a plate flower but just didn't have time to make any. I forgot to post my pics of what I got from the box so guess I better do that,too. I know who one of my treasures came from, so it will be cool to see who sent the other ones. Your grandkids are adorable. Sorry he broke his wrist and that would be nasty to have it hit you in the face. Those poor GK's are going to think grandparents are very silly. Having a train traveling around the US with JT in tow? Not exacttly the most mature things we have ever done. ROFL!

I explained to them that the box and jt is going to go all over the USA.They thought is was neat.My dd said if it's fun and different Mommom does it.I'm having a ball with it.I can't wait see and hear all about the adventures that are coming.

Cute GK's!! GD matches JT's outfit so well!! Sorry she got hit! My DS broke his in jr. hi.playing on wet grass. Dr. said didn't really need an xray as it wasn't swollen, I insisted & it looked like it had been cut right through above the wrist with nothing to hold it together but cast it took 12 weeks to heal. I broke mine & it didn't swell either so that's no sign it's OK!! Glad the JT is heading up to Wa. Kirk & family are waiting to see what goodies come to their door & to welcome JT!! Jan

Kylie looks so pretty with JT on her lap! They match each other perfectly! And Corey is such a handsome boy and looking great even with that nasty broken wrist. OUCH! Aaaaa to have such pretty blonde hair like that without a bottle, huh?

It looks like JT had loads of fun and adventure at your house. Make sure you pack her warm clothes for her chilling adventures in Washington!

It is so much fun to see the pictures and read the stories about the Junk Train!

Awww, your two little "walking wounded" ones are adorable.
But looks like time with JT made them pretty happy. Now she gets to visit Kirk n Carol's two little ones. JT is just having a blast on her journey.
I decided when she comes to Phoenix, she better not meet my dogs. The Whippets might love her a bit TOO much if you get my meaning. She'd be continuing her journey in pieces, LOL, and could probably go off in 4 different directions.
So I will tell her she can't get a photo with a Whippet and hope she understands.

Oh, the GKs are adorable!!! Mine will enjoy JT's visit too when it's our turn! JT is really having fun on her journey!

LOL about the whippets loving JT too much Karen! My best friend has a little teacup chihuahua, who loves a little stuffed toy better than any dog I've ever seen. I'm always looking for cheap stuffed animals for him when I'm junkin', usually I can find them for free or 5 or 10 cents, and the fun he has with them is priceless.

What adorable big, brown eyes Kylie has! She & JT make a pretty pair. Looks like Corey has alot of friends that signed that cast! Did you get out a map & show him all the states where JT had been? That would have been a really neat learning tool.
