Could I have an Old Woman guardian (gardening) angel too please? I'm just shy of 50 and am starting to feel the need of a kindred spirit. I have one daughter who is just about ready to make me an empty nester. My husband's job takes him away from home too often and for too long so it gets lonely around here.
Y'all like goodies? I can bake!!! I am a certified pastry chef, among other things.
How about a gateaux ganache? Chocolate cake filled with raspberry jam and iced with dark chocolate ganache? Heck I'll even decorate it with chocolate roses, how about a wee bud for each slice?
Or a piece of pecan baklava? I love Middle East pastries!
Or my version of a "turtle"? I use a dollop of caramel, topped with pecans and finished with dark chocolate? Deadly.
I can even make Chinese sweet bean cookies. They're not my favorite but I can make them. I prefer the almond cookies myself.

Ms. Luna, I would have to be the angel with the harp, because first, I play piano, second, I love to make noise (I try to define it as muscial, but there have been some raised eybrows on that note) and third, I have always wanted to learn how to play a harp. (Do they give lessons in heaven?) Ms. Mimi, you can come to my house anytime and cook. You hit my button with the choclate cake filled with raspberry jam, iced with dark chocolate ganache, the pecan baklava, the turtles...... I have never had a Chinese sweet bean cookie but hey, it's sweet, I'll give it a try. Bring the boys, too. I have 350 acres they can run and wear themselves out on.

Now, Ms. Susie, I think you will probably need a little help with holding those chocolates and I am just the one to provide that help. What the heck, we can hold the chocolates and sing "Rise and Shine" (I sing alto by the way) and I bet we could find a few other fun songs to "practice" our vocal cords on. By the way, is that dark or milk chocolate, not that it matters, I'll take either one so long as it is CHOCOLATE!!!!!! (I'm with you on that one Ms. Mimi) Sandy, I think you need to come join Ms. Susie and myself 'cause we need all the help we can get (well, I do for sure) I think the rest of the group is going to need all the guardian angels they can recruit just to protect themselves from us, cause this horse ride could get wild and crazy!!

Well I guess that I should be glad that I can't really have any. My Mom, who is another kind of angel, is taking the whole crew on a Disney cruise in May! I decided it was time to loose those vanity pounds that make my poor knee ache worse in the summer. I'm down seven pounds so far!!!! I'll be looking good for Mickey Mouse! (I hope!) The boys are over the moon! I'll be eating all the chocolate that they serve on the ship!

I wish you all could come too. Just imagine a garden junker cruise!

Mssunflower: It's dark chocolate, I don't usually use milk chocolate.
I have to admit that I don't really care for chocolate, but that just leaves more for all of you who do! The only chocolate that I'll have has to be full flavored, robust, sharp textured and have a bit of a bite to it.
Hmmmmmm, that sounds like me!

Did I mention my chocolate espresso torte with a hazelnut (or pecan when hazelnuts are too expensive) crust? It's my Dad's favorite. It's kind of like a French silk pie with a nut crust but without the whipped cream topping. Yum!

Well let's see ... this is the sort of mischief I get into and this is just how HUMONGOUS I am! lol!

I love the angels/fairies Karen is finding for all of us. Lord knows I sure can use one too since the old woman comes to visit here quite frequently too. She went off and left my garage door open the other day, and then this morning she even left the water running in the sink after brushing her teeth! I just don't know how to deal with her, so hopefully my angel/fairy will help!
