Question about repotted Purple Passion plant...

I recieved a Purple Passion plant as a gift from a relative after my dog passed away. I've had it since the first part of November & it is going crazy! It was started from another plant, so she sent it to me in the pot it was started in. I noticed that the soil looked a little compacted & just not very good so I repotted it yesterday (put it back in the same pot, just added new soil). Well, today it seems very limp & kind of wilted. Did I hurt this plant?! I've heard that some plants need a couple of days to adjust to being repotted, is that the case for this plant? Is there something I should do? I really don't want this plant to die!

Thanks for any suggestions!
