Blackberry/Blueberry and bugs?

Hey all :) I'm fairly new to gardening, so please bear with me :)

My husband and I decided to plant some blackberry and blueberry bushes in our back yard. Our neighbor has a bunch of blueberry and raspberry bushes, so we have a good resource in him, but I hate to keep bugging him with questions!

So, we bought some started plants, and put them in the back yard, in a really sunny spot. They're doing very well - growing more than I thought they would with my black thumb ;)

I checked on them yesterday, and I saw some of the large leaves had holes in them, and were turning brown, like something had been eating it. I haven't seen any bugs/larvae or anything, but I was wondering if this was a sign of something bad? They're very small holes, and they're only on a few of the leaves - generally the largest leaves.

Do I need to get some pesticide or something? I'd like to avoid doing that - but if I must, then I must.

Thanks!
