Yellow Mature Leaves on Green Beans and Tomatoes

I have a 4'x4' raised bed in which I've planted pole beans, among other things, although only the beans are yellowing. They've really taken off; we had to tie a string connecting the top of the 6' trellis to the peak of the garage roof because they're still growing. The leaves are lush and full, for the most part- leaves on the bottom have started turning yellow. Is it something I should be concerned about? How should I correct it? The beds were cultivated with well-rotted manure and are watered in early evening (1800-2000) as needed. We're having the same problem with our tomatoes, which are in a separate pot. Same soil mixture, but with ping pong balls for drainage as it's a big pot. Thanks!
