WANTED: Bhut Jolokia seeds

I'm looking for Bhut Jolokia seeds. AKA Naga Jolokia, Naga Morich, or Bih Jolokia. It's the world's hottest pepper. If you have some seeds, take a look at my trade list and see if I have anything that interests you. Thanks.

You'll be dissapointed if you get Naga Jolokia seeds.They are not the same as Bhut Jolokia.
Bhut Jolokia are C.Chinense Naga Jolokia isn't.

Seems that every site on the net makes up their own story about what they want to call their pepper seeds.

I've seen seeds sold that grow the peppers in the link above being advertised with a picture of a Naga Morich or Bhut Jolokia picture on the page insinuating you'll get the pictured pepper but you don't.

I've read that Naga Morich and Bhut Jolokia are relatives of each other.
The naga Morich is supposed to not be as hot by some very little amount(why quible when your in that heat range).

Someone was supposed to have analized both peppers and found they may have had the same parent plant at one time but they changed over the years possibly due to growing conditions,crossbreading etc.
They are different peppers,both hotter than heck.
All the info I've read about naga morich and bhut jolokia was on the net so who knows if it's true or not....

I'm getting the Naga Jolokia seeds the guys offering in the link.I'll grow them and see how hot they are.
I'm supposed to be getting Bhut Jolokias from another trade soon too.
Now I'll have to find some Naga Morich seeds.
Then I'll have the trinity of hottest of the hot peppers to compare with each other.

you forget to throw in the trinidad scorpion and the 7pot :)
i have a small portion of naga morich seeds that im going to try to grow next growing season, wish me luck

im also going to try my hand at the trinidad scorpion which is a beautiful little pepper thats just EVIL

i may give some seeds to my brother who has a better green thumb than i do :)

the naga jolokia is a different pepper than the bhut jolokia
the naga morich is a different pepper than bhut jolokia as well but kin to the bhut jolokia

ive seen that the bih jolokia = bhut jolokia
you'll have to let me know how those tests came out :)

Well, I'm back to the Dorset or 7 Pot camp then. Having a big bite and letting us know how hot will help figure it out. Start with the small and then compare with the larger one. Maybe we can get Ravi (trfanatic) to volunteer and man the defibrillator during the taste test? Ravi, you game?
