Jasmine 'Maid of Orleans'. The fragrance is delicious! I put mine under lights in November and it has been blooming for the past 2 weeks!

I've managed to keep gardenias going for years, though they can be mighty finicky, but I think slightly easier and even with a much more intense flower fragrance are the orange jessimines, or orange jasmines as some folks are want to call them (Murraya panniculata), though they aren't true jasmines. Mine seem to flower on and off yearound with decent light , heat and adequate humidity, though they seem to be fairly tough plants for me, and though the largest of mine is shedding shedding , shedding most of it's leaves and in poor light this winter, it still continues to flower on and off , though without the very abundant flower clusters it get when outdoors for the summer! A single one inch wide flower can be smelled from many feet away and I guess the scent is a bit similar to orange blossoms , since they are related to citrus!

Hoyas often have fragrant blooms.
Eucharis, too.

If you have Senecio rowleyanus and it's matur enough, it, too has very fragrant (clove-ish) blooms....mine's blooming right now!

Hoya will produce an intense night time fragrance. If you have it blooming, it will do so for some time. Good luck!

Many, but not all, orchids have fragrent flowers. If you are looking for fragrence with or w/out flowers you might want to try scented geraniums. There is also an herb with the common name of cuban oregano. It really does not smell like oregano but it has a nice fragrance. When you trim the plant the entire room will smell wonderful. It likes good sun and it also tends to be a water hog.....at least in my house in Maryland. Unfortunately this plant is not easy to find but it is light green with neat fussy round leaves.

My Hoya obscura has been blooking nearly nonstop since last March. It has an incredibly intense and delicious evening fragrance like gardenia and spiced fruit, very different from other hoya fragrances.

Sansevieria parva (a smaller relative of the common mother-in-law's tongue) flowers reliably for me each winter in response to the shortening daylengths of autumn. The night fragrance of hyacinth from just a few open flowers is enough to nearly knock me over.

Neomarica gracilis also flowers reliably for me indoors from late January through April every year. The exquisitely beautiful iris-like flowers only last one day each, but many flowers are produced from each bloom stalk. To my nose, they are scented exactly like garden peonies which is one of my all-time favorite floral odors.

All three of these plants are the best houseplants I have ever grown in terms of looks, ease of growth, ease of flowering and robustness.

Some of my other fragrant favorites that may or may not bloom in winter (depending on the year in question and other environmental factors) are Aglaia odorata and Codonanthe carnosa.

If you are lucky, you may be able to find a scented cyclamen at your local supermarket or chain home improvement store. These can have a lovely odor and will bloom all winter if kept relatively cool.

I have been searching the next for the Jasmine 'Maid of Orleans' and the hoyas. I have heard a lot of people seem to do good with those. I think I might me able to keep alive.

I am finding I need more and more stimulation to get through the winters. At first I thought just having plants around would help. The visual is not doing it I need smell.

If I get the visual and smell I will put on some soothing music and I will have a total package. LOL
