How long before grafts start growing?

This is my first time grafting fruit trees. Two days ago I grafted 4 scions onto my apricot and 4 onto my plum. Less than 48 hours later the buds are starting to break. It has been 80 degrees the last 2 days with warm nights but this seems very fast to break dormancy. Even the grafts that I was worried about look great. The scions were kept in the frig from the time I got them which has been the last 2 weeks.

Are these scions growing from stored energy from last year? I am worried they will exhaust their energy before a graft union takes place. Is this good or bad or just normal? The trees are also just starting to swell at the buds, tree and scion are at the same stage.
