The stawberries have arrived.

I have been so amazed by the extremes this winter in the garden. I had kale and brussel sprouts survive the entire winter and picked a small bumper crop of sprouts just recently. Much to my amazement, i was laying some cow manure and lobster compost in the strawberry beds this morning, and to my disbelief, my "mara De Bois" and "White D' pineberries have dozens upon dozens of flowers and berries already on the plants. This will be the earliest I have ever had an ever bearing strawberry produce fruit. I went to my other strawberry patch to check on my "Mignonette", and sure enough, flowers and berries galore.
