HAVE: Tomatoes, Veggies, and Flowers

I just sorted through my seed collection and updated my list today. Please check it out! I didn't actually get the garden in this year as planned, though I did manage to get a few tomato plants to survive on the patio.

We are planning a full garden curriculum next year - bigger than the plans we had for this year. We will be doing a couple large in-ground gardens in the yard, as well as container gardening, a couple smaller raised beds, and another attempt at aquaponics (now that we have an actual small in-home tank with the modifications needed). We are a family of seven, and this year we are starting our home-school journey. So far so good!

Child #1 wants to get into pickling recipes, so would like cucumbers.
Child #2 wants to be a chef and loves cooking with new ingredients, so he will try just about any kind of seed - so long as it will grow in our short summer.
Child #3 loves flowers, and yellow - she'd like yellow vegetables and yellow flowers.
Child #4 loves anything purple that she can call her own.
Child #5 is a baby yet, but he loves his veggies, especially carrots and sweet potatoes.
I like to collect tomato varieties, but I'm also short on bean varieties - so would like to try to get some of those as well. I like odd things (white eggplant, black carrots, odd colored veggies, etc.). When offering a trade, please keep in mind that we are beginners with a short summer - please only low-maintenance varieties.

hi i have lemon balm, chamomile, and some spicy mint. i dont know the exact variety - it came with the place, but its peppermint ish if i had to guess.... i have a very small trade of lavender, munstead. i also believe i have some orange or yellow bell peppers, maybe some mini sweet bell peppers too...would have to check if you are interested. i would be interested in grand fig leaf hollyhock Coral Vine Mesclun Mixed Greens Salvia, White (is it apiana? or? its ok if you dont know) Here is a link that might be useful: my trade list

Hi! I have fresh Striped Toga eggplant- just dried my seeds this week! I'd like some seeds of your Poil Blanc tomato in trade for it. :) I'd like to trade 8 saved seeds (Oct. '08 harvest) of my Seminole Squash for some of your 2007 "Hahms gelbe Topftomate".. 8 seeds, if possible. I'm slightly paranoid that 6 seeds might not be enough for my garden due to the seed age. But if 6 is all the HGT you can send, I will manage. :) I also want to trade 12 seeds from my mauve Asarina scandens for 12 of your Siberia tomato seeds. Next year I am moving to USDA Zone5, so I need some nice early ones like that! :) And I'd like to trade some Magical Michael basil seeds or some Hawaiian Grape tomato "Komohana" seeds (your choice) for some of your Banana Legs tomato seeds. :) Please email me so we can work out a trade. :)

My apologies for not getting back to everyone sooner! I didn't get any notification that there were replies here, and had kids out sick for the last week and a half. I'm back now! I have replied to all of the emails I received. If you didn't hear back from me, I didn't get your email. Thank you Garretds7 for letting me know there were replies here! I haven't gotten an email back so I'm guessing not. I don't even remember what I said but I'm looking for some Brandywine tomato seeds. Check out my trade list and see if you like anything. I also have Great White heirloom tomato seeds that are fermenting now and should be ready soon.

I also have a variety of herbs and plants that I could trade- mint, oregano, walking onion, thyme, garlic chives. Tall Yellow Bearded Iris, sedums, bloody cranesbill, coreopsis...
