Farmerdilla - look what I pulled this morning

shot

Farmerdilla, just wanted to share with you these two Black Diamonds that I pulled this morning. Sir, am not flaunting either, so hope you don't get the wrong idea.

I only planted 9 hills of them and in such a place that I could water in times of need which was quite frequently. Put them underneath a pecan tree in the back yard so they will stay cool. (cold watermelons hurt my teeth)

Before I planted watermelons out in the field and remember filling up barrels to carry out there to water them to keep them going.

The first time I brought my girlfriend (now my wife) to Georgia we took a stroll to my bro-in-law's patch and I picked a nice one then carried it underneath a hill pine and just busted it open on the ground. We dug into it with our bare hands and had juice dripping off out faces and hands. To this day she says that was the best watermelon she has ever had. She was born and raised in Jax, Fl.

These were about 30 pounders each.
