Dying Eggplant

jimla

My raised bed of eggplant is slowly curling up and turning brown. They were a very healthy looking 18-inches tall and green 3 weeks ago when I removed the floating row cover. The cover kept the flea beatles off until my transplants were established. The bed is fitted with a soaker hose and straw mulch. It is watered weekly or as needed and fertilized with a fish emulsion one or two times this season. From some pics of curly and browning leaf edges I found on the web, could it be verticillium wilt? Never had this happen before. Any other things to look into to salvage this bed?
