Hi Ralph -- You're here in NC for good--yay! I will keep the hibiscus in position for a bit, then I can dig when you're ready for it. I'm hoping in the next two-three weeks. Could be I could leave it in place until the April 29 place and bring it then, if you plan to attend. You are also welcome to hostas and goldenrod. I'll go ahead and pot up some of the GR roots, now that I know someone wants it. I'm definitely interested in the brug. What color is it? Also, which trilliums do you have? I have cuneatum that are blooming now. Last year you traded me a black EE. I left it in the ground, though I was advised it might not be hardy enough. And I also left an Illustris out because i was told they hang on pretty well through the winter. Whaddya think about the black one? If it doesn't come back, and you have a root to spare, I'd be happy for another. It was one of my faves in the garden last year. Really gorgeous, though I put it too close to the front of the border. You'd think I'd have been industrious enough to dig it up for winter, but things got away from me!

I mix my 'black pearl' with other hot peppers when I cook and I use them when they're still that wonderful black/violet. Mixed with some yellow, red and green, they look great together. I grew last year and this year with great success - they're a very dramatic looking plant. Just got back from STL - the Missouri Botanical Garden has two wonderful varieties - 'purple flash' and 'calico' which appear to be new from Ball Hort. 'Purple flash' especially has the most exquisite foliage - soft lavender and white with hints of green and violet.

Hi! I looked at both Luna Pearl and Sesame White (which may be the same as your Salt-and-Pepper). Based on the materials that I looked at, there is a difference between LP and SW. The color flecks on the SW are smaller and more defined. LP flecks tend to be larger and a more undefined and there is a bit more pink in the material. This is the Sesame White that I viewed: I wound up going with Imperial White as I liked the subtle motion of the flecks...which were still small with a 'tight' pattern. I was looking for a stone that was as close to engineered quartz in looks as possible. Closeup: Good Luck! Pepper

@dcw0405, same… (even older thread now!). Our windows and doors are sierra pacific black sable, which have a navy cast to them. I was looking at the new magnolia collection stone beach but was told the magnolia colors cost 30% more! Would love to see pics of pearl gray lap siding with dark windows.
