Granite Color in Kitchen
Comments (12)I am a honed fan so I would do Black Pearl honed. I think it would look great. My second choice would be the St. Cecilia. I agree it is more common but I think the Caledonia is too...something. Not sure how to word it. I think the St. Cecilia and the Black Pearl would look sophisticated and luxurious. The Caledonia doesn't look as "fancy" to me. This probably makes no sense! But there you have it....See Morenearly there modern galley kitchen - pictures!
Comments (39)Tartan- i actually think the white walls look brilliant! But we are from paris, where there is nothing more beautfiul than a 19th century apartment with white walls! We have carmelized bamboo cabinets, and we are waiting for our quartz (silestone Unsui) which is a similar color to your countertops. We are thinking of doing a backpained glass backsplash a couple of shades lighter than the countertop. (light gray). But i might do a zen green color instead (like yours). I think you have enough color , but that's just my taste. We havent decided on paint color for OUR walls, we are waiting until we get further. BTW i love that your cabs don't go all the way up to the ceiling. I wanted to do that, but everyone screamed, "Dust! Grease!" at me until i finally caved....See MoreSea Pearl needs a backsplash...
Comments (156)I didn't want any shine, but that is a beautiful tile. First picture shows gray green and second shows gray blue and green on my monitor. I can't decide whether to go with light tiles that blend in or with some color like the crackle tiles. I like the idea of a darker grout that won't show stains as much as a white grout. Sealed of course. I guess I will be doing a road trip next week. I hate driving 2 hours just to pick up tile samples, them driving 2 hours back home. I plan on picking up Sonoma, Encore, Pratt and Larson and any other suggestions I get. Thanks, Peek Oh this is pathetic...I just noticed the number of posts on this thread. Comments (39)annekendo - Thank you for the compliment. You'll be pleased with your Dynasty cabinets. My door pulls are Hickory Hardware Cumberland, 4 3/4", in Vibra Pewter. I have a few drawer knobs (Hickory Hardware Manchester, 1 3/8") but went with mostly pulls throughout. Not sure I'd do that again -- it's a little busy with all that vertical metal! The appliance pulls are Top Knob Bead End (18") in Patine Black. They match closely enough. Got everything from Myknobs.com. Very easy to work with and handled a return with no problem at all. Highly recommend....See Morebrianadarnell
