Genetic Dwarf Peach Nodules on limbs?

I purchased a few genetic dwarf peach and nectarines from a single nursery. Two of them have nodules or galls (not sure the correct term) at the limb crotch points and other spots. My other genetic dwarf trees (from other nurseries, tho none are the same variety) do not have this phenomena.
Is this a dormant pest, disease, or normal?
Perhaps these are natural "nutrient" buildup/restriction that helps inhibit growth?
Keeping fingers crossed since I'd rather not return them.
TIA
