Honglee, I know it takes a lot of time to collect seed and then thereÂs the trip to the post office but I do it because I enjoy sharing them with other people. I have spent many hours collecting, packing, labeling and mailing bubble envelopes this year. I have mailed almost 50 envelopes in the last few weeks and the only cost was $1.00 for some plastic seed baggies and my time. It is actually against GardenWeb rules to ask for payment for seed and IÂm very surprised your offer hasnÂt been removed and you warned by the powers that be, or worse, banned. If you want to offer seed for postage as your post states all you have to do is email people your address and they will send you a bubble envelope with a return label and return postage inside. When you receive the envelope all you have to do is remove the label and postage from the outside and put the return postage and label on and then mail it. If you want compensation for the time you spend and the trips you have to make to the post office, you might want to try another site where it is allowed. I have actually thought of doing this myself but the enjoyment I get from giving my seed is more important than any money I could make off of them. jim_6b

'Belle Blanche', in most cases, refers to Datura metel var. metel, the single, white variety. The double-white one is Datura metel var. muricata. Many nurseries will attach a generic name to a plethora of Datura, though, so it's quite possible that you bought a plant by one name, and got something entirely different.

Ok, my theory...give me opinions on it. Though we got a good rain last week, I didnt check or do anything in any of my garden over the weekend (working in the house) The day after I took the pic, many other plants were wilting. So I think it wasn't enough water, PLUS, one of my bigger concerns were the brown dots in the leaves. It was as if the "green" of the leaves were scraped away, leaving very dry, very thing spots. I think that was caused by some sort of leaf boring insect. Possible??? I watered it really well again (along w/ everything else) last night, took out more grass around it, and added more humus. This morning, it looked perkier, greener, w/ the exception of those spots. There were even new leaves. I broke down and removed any leaf w/ the spots, in case it was caused by insect larvae. So now it has left the top 2 leaves you see in the pic, plus 4 new smaller ones. Looks sickly w/o the leaves! I'm gonna continue to keep an eye on it, and possibally go pick up a new one just in case. I stopped where I bought it yesterday, she had 3 left, discounted to $1.50. 2 were getting ready to bloom too! Would've went today, but youngest child got a stomach bug.
