HAVE: Fresh Foxglove and Rose Campion seed (pics incl).

I have loads of fresh light purple Foxglove seeds, a small amount of pale yellow "Foxy" Foxgloves and the first wave of hot pink Rose Campion seeds.

I'm open to trade for whatever really.

The Purple and Yellow Foxgloves were summer sown last year and bloomed like crazy this year.

I would like to trade with you for both the foxglove and rose campion. I have yellow coreopsis and purple coneflower seeds.
Also red fresh TX star hibiscus and Grandpa Ott's morning glory seeds.

Hi Ann, As it happens you chose ones I do have extras of. The "cost" is three first class stamps - four if you wish for me to provide the bubble mailer. Just so you know, if my post office does not require all three stamps I will keep the extra to cover the cost of my seed envelopes which are $17 per box of 500 (usually they only require .58 cents for an envelope less than an ounce, but it depends on who is at the window when I take them in). One of the other people who took me up on the offer (and I sent them over 10 packets of seed - most with more than 100 seeds included) was very upset that I kept the extra first class stamp so I want to be very clear so there are no further misunderstandings. I am not trying to "make" money, but it would be nice not to lose it. I also need from you. A copy of your want list and a filled out return label. If you don't have a sticky one no problem I'll be happy to tape it on. Please put your gardenweb name in there somewhere too. Hello everyone!!! Thanks for all your interest!!!! I have ran out of lots of lots of seeds now and I'll be updating my list this afternoon. But I have several seeds ripening and I'll add those to my list as well. There's some people I haven't been able to get in touch with, I have sent emails to everyone here, if you don't get one, please send me an email. So glad you posted these pics. I am growing Verbascum Milkshke this year (got the seeds in a trade) and I have great germination. It's good to know it's height. I am also growing 3 types of Rose campion - fuschia, white, and angel's blush so they should should be beautiful together. I am told they are biennials and will bloom the second year, but the fuschia and white are such great re-seeders you will probably never be without them. Nice photos.

Any one living near the Huntington Gardens be sure to visit the new Childrens Garden. They have a large cement bowl of sand that has a lot of iron ore inside, beach sand has Iron ore. They also have a large magnet to gather it up. Children can play with this by the hour. They have a pebble stream, a fog forest. A TeePee make believe, fake Ravens sitting on the bench, I rainbow tunnel, many other clever things for children to explore. Visit and it will give you some great ideas. I wish I could come and help you with your garden. Use a lot of bushes with texture. Pansy's for color, miniature persimmons, miniature Peaches to be picked. Bean Poles shaped like a TeePee for the beans to climb, and Tomato cages to keep them off the ground, the more you plant up, the more room you will have, peas climb up, Japanese egg plant takes little room, and you can eat them. Stubby carrots are great tiny and grow in poor soil and pots. My children's garden was all in pots set in space on the driveway that wasn't used for other things, miniature tomatoes in 3 gal containers and Luffa sponge in 5 gal. clay pots. A row of pot for herbs, I had a weeping willow bottle brush tree, hummingbirds just loved visiting. Miniature squash, which grows fast in a five gallon glay container, and up a tomato cage, and the old standby a row of radishes with germinates in three days. Have the childen make a scarecrow with your help of course. I started growing food at four and a half. Be sure to tuck in some parsley and rosemary for you. A large tall Sunflower plant, one is plenty and grows tall about (8ft). It will attract birds. Gourds, grow up and make a fine trellis plant for a lath house. Just ideas, Norma

I still have a lot of the purple Foxglove seed available.

I am trading the yellow Foxglove and Campion seed as fast as I can gather them. First come first serve.

I also have fresh Portulaca "Sundial mix", pink Hollyhocks and Lamb's ear seed plus many more available on my list, please take a look.
